Offices and Co-Working Spaces

Our flame-resistant panel fabrics and felts made from 100% PyroTex® support the main objective of the project by creating safe and tactile surfaces in work and retreat areas, improving acoustics while fostering an open and collaborative working environment.

Offices and Home Offices

This project demonstrates how modern office areas can be designed to promote productivity, safety, comfort, and well-being in equal parts. The focus is to create a working environment that meets the requirements of hybrid work while integrating harmoniously into the surrounding space.
Textile surfaces and flame-resistant panel solutions play a central role. They improve room acoustics, reduce disruptive noise and create a pleasant atmosphere for focused work as well as virtual meetings. At the same time, different colours, textures and materials give the space a warm and individual character.
Flame-resistant textiles made from PyroTex® are used in this concept. The fabrics’ permanently flame-resistant properties provide a high level of safety without compromising on design, tactility or comfort. This makes the materials suitable for both private workspaces and demanding contract applications.
By carefully combining work, retreat and communication areas, the concept creates a flexible environment that supports focused work as well as creative processes. Flame-resistant textile panels can be used as wall coverings, privacy screens or space-dividing elements, offering a wide range of options for individual design.
The concept illustrates how high-quality, flame-resistant PyroTex® textiles can create functional and aesthetically appealing workspaces. The combination of acoustics, safety and design results in a working environment that meets the demands of modern working life while providing an inspiring atmosphere.
This project is intended to illustrate potential applications and demonstrates how textile solutions can structure working environments, improve acoustics and shape the overall atmosphere.

Mock-up: Modern and Safe Working Environments

This project demonstrates how historic architecture and contemporary working environments can merge into an inspiring whole. The starting point is the transformation of an existing building into a flexible working environment that meets the needs of companies, start-ups, freelancers and mobile professionals alike.
The design centres around an open and communicative atmosphere with a wide variety of work and breakout areas. Generous reception zones, library and lounge areas, meeting rooms, work booths and multifunctional communal spaces provide opportunities for interaction, focused work and informal encounters.
Flame-resistant textile surfaces and panel solutions made from PyroTex® play a central role in both the design and functionality of the space. They structure open areas, create safe visual and acoustic retreats, and give the interiors a warm and welcoming character. Through the combination of specific colours, and textures the working environment encourages creativity while offering a high level of comfort and safety.
Particular attention is given to the relationship between the existing architecture and modern design. Historic building elements are exposed and combined with contemporary materials, creating a compelling dialogue between past and present. Generous communal areas form the social heart of the building and encourage spontaneous interaction and collaborative work.
The result is a versatile working environment in which architecture, acoustics, safety and materials work together harmoniously. Flame-resistant textile panels made from PyroTex® make a significant contribution to defining different functional zones, enhancing the quality of the space and creating an environment that supports productivity, well-being and a strong sense of community in equal measure.

Mock-up: Third Places

This project demonstrates how flame-resistant textile surfaces and panel solutions made from PyroTex® can shape a modern Third Place focusing on tranquility, interaction and well-being. The starting point is the transformation of an existing building into an open space that offers visitors ideal conditions for spending time, connecting with others and feeling welcome.
At the heart of the design is a warm and inviting atmosphere created through the combination of specific colours, and textures. Custom-made furniture, textile wall surfaces, room dividers and acoustically effective flame-resistant panels divide the space into different zones, ranging from open social areas and convivial seating landscapes to protected retreats for quiet moments.
On the lower level of the building, a welcoming lounge environment is created with lounge chairs, cozy niches and flexible seating areas. Textile panels structure the space and at the same time improving its acoustic performance. Mounted textile elements divide larger areas into smaller, more protected zones, creating a pleasant balance between openness and privacy. This results in a lively, productive and relaxing atmosphere, even in areas with limited natural light.
On the ground floor, a spacious, light-filled area welcomes visitors. A custom-made PyroTex® curtain serves as an atmospheric design feature while supporting the acoustic quality of the space. Soft seating, textile wall surfaces and natural materials complete the setting, combining the character of a vibrant communal place with the comfort of a welcoming interior.
On the upper levels, flexible areas for gathering and spending time are created with height-adjustable tables, upholstered niches and quiet retreat zones. Textile panels are used strategically to define individual areas visually, absorb sound and create a sense of comfort and security. A central material wall extending across several levels illustrates the variety of surfaces used and becomes a defining feature of the interior concept.
The project illustrates how high-quality, flame-resistant textiles made from PyroTex® can transform Third Places into versatile environments for interaction, exchange and inspiration. Acoustics, safety and atmosphere work together harmoniously to create a setting that supports well-being, community and a high quality of experience in equal measure.
This project is intended to illustrate potential applications and demonstrates how textile solutions can structure third places, improve acoustics and shape the overall atmosphere.
