Our Philosophy
Our philosophy is based on quality and innovation in materials and workmanship, resulting in the greatest possible safety. This is guaranteed by the PyroTex® fiber we use, which meets all the requirements based on the DIN EN1869 and NFPA 701 (National Fire Protection Association) standards.
The Brand
ASK THE FOX stands for “modern safety.” All our products are distinguished by their unique identity and authenticity. Our base material, PyroTex®, is not only fire-resistant, but also antibacterial and particularly gentle on the skin (Standard 100 by Oeko-Tex). Fire protection and fire blankets with a “Magic Touch” that feels good and is even gentle enough for baby’s skin.
Markets and Their Development
The core markets for our fire-resistant blankets are German-speaking countries, Europe, Australia, Africa, South America, Japan, the USA, and Eastern Europe, including Russia. Our main focus is on developing our online shop and selecting our retail partners. ASK THE FOX fire protection and fire blankets are available mainly in department stores and home improvement stores.
Production
The vast majority of our total production takes place in Europe and the USA. The fire-resistant blankets are made in Germany. The center for developing production expertise and quality assurance is located in Hamburg.
